I noticed in the recent 3.0si test drive that the I Drive knob has no longer the soft spongy feeling that my 2006 330i has...! Its more of an "engaged" feeling when being used.
But the 3.0si had no Tech/Nav...so I was wondering if with Nav that spongy feeling returns with force feedback??

I (also) noticed that the E70 demo (w/o tech/nav) had a firmer feel than the loaner 530 I had. I liked the on one the 5 better. I though in the E70, it was physically harder to push the wheel up, down, and side to side. I'm guessing the controller will be the same regardless of nav.
Still, I don't think that will impede with my usage of the system.
