Has anyone heard definitively as to when the automatic tailgate will be made available in Canada ?

I was told by the dealer not until 2008 model year in Canada.

Funny, my dealer thinks it's imminent. Just not sure about what month. Also, another poster in bimmerfest heard from his dealer in Alberta that both tailgate and usb would be available for Canada for April production.

I was originally told the same thing. Then last week the dealer told me that the auto tailgate will not be available until 2008 model year. I am sure their must be a BMW Canada bulletin somewhere on this.

This was posted last week by a forum member in bimmerfest:

SOP for USB is April for Canada, along with power tailgate.....

Not sure if either are standard or optional at this point. The actual Product Planning Bulletin is supposed to be released late next week up here........

Now I'm really confused. It would seem strange that the US would get the power tailgate beginning April production, but Canada would not. Maybe I'm being optimistic.

I was told yerterday by my dealer that USB is confirmed for April production but the auto tailgate is only planned for April (No green light yet).
