Flashlight in glove box

My LEF came in the rear storage, the dealer did not give it to me.

Check yours, I think they are no longer rechargeable and no charger plugin.

What's shown above in the glovebox is for the spare key.

My LED fits nicely in a rubber tray in the console near the front, not sure if made for it, but near exact fit.

Yes, mine is the same. Its like the photo at the beging of this very old thread. The rechargable one is no longer included w/ the X5.

Can you post a photo of where you store yours, I dont understand where you are talking about and have been looking for a good spot to store mine.

the new cylindrical flash light goes in the 'centerconsole', right below the 'AUX' jack. there is a horizontal groove at thte front of the centr console and thats where it sits. (didn't you find it there in the first place? well I did and it fits perfectly in there). The glove box holder is for your fob spare (not the wallet spare key). hope this helps

If anyone has difficulty locating this horizontal groove, you'll notice that the inside of this groove is concave and has a tacky surface - more so than the rest of the center console - that the flashlight can be pressed into to hold it firmly. To find it all you have to do is touch the very front of the bottom surface of your center console.

no such spot in my center console. The entire botton is flat.
