I believe the turbo will appear within the next two years. I don't like turbos, IMO. I should be nice, though.

Well, the redone 5 series gets the 535i using the TT motor. I would assume it is definitely coming to the X5 lineup, just a question of when, if it is 2008 it will be mid-year.

Pricing on the current X5 is high probably better off waiting for the 2008 model.

300 pound feet of torque at 1400 rpm - very interesting. The 4.8 has 350 - but at 3400 rpm. That is stump pulling.
While both are really 3 litres, they are not the same engine.
