Smile newb here saying hi and x5 details too!

hi all,
after a few days lurking thought i'd check in..

just ordered an x5 for the wifey
here some vitals:
space gray 3.0
napa tobacco w/light poplar
multi contour seats
3rd row
rear heated
rear climate
prem/cold/tech
sirius
comfort access
running boards

the tobacco looks better in person, saw it at dlr.
some pics here show it too light and clay-like.
it really is like a tobacco wrapper of a cigar, almost
a very subtle green hue, not red.
re avail of tobacco i was told to avoid delay get napa
(which actually feels much more comfortable than nevada
esp in rear seats. i wonder if its padded better too?)
and then i was told i had to get multi-contour seats too.
no worries they look great in the book at least..

since people here are asking about lease deals heres mine..

msrp -1500
61%
10k/36mo
3.19
600 bank fee

i was told rate may come down by time i take
delivery. i will get that lower rate if so.
i'm sure i couldve knocked off a few hundy from cap but
local guy who i wanted to give the biz, and they were
fair on a trade in (02 mdx) and they'll hold to trade-in
price until delivery..eta 4 weeks. we'll see..
still might get a few bucks off as the seat upgrade was
added on after the fact when they checked in the order.

regards, john.

Thanks, I guess you could buy the kit and only install the front, but at $1,195.00
just for the kit, it would seem like a big waste and would probably mess with the overall balance of the X5.

2 kids..they are not babies anymore but my little clan can fit. esp if 3rd row is only for occasional use. we have some family outings with grandfolks so we need the space.
