Their numbers do not support the conclusion - but they were comparing deisels and they do say the the X5 is optimized for no road. I agree, I would not take a unibody car offraoding - that is for a good ladder frame Jeep, Defender Landcruiser or Nissan. But that is not what we buy of X5's for.

but to be honest...I will choose the X5

First place: X5
Second place: Q7
Third place: ML

After reading the article and not knowing any German... I have decided the X5 is way hotter!
