Z8 for the X5

First I would like to thank all the folks on the forum for providing an open repository of information that has helped me get over watching my Z8 being hauled away on a flatbed last week. It was a great car and I hated seeing it go away but I’m looking forward to receiving my new X5 in the coming weeks. I know the X5 will never replace the performance or looks of the Z but I’m hoping the comfort and practical use will payoff soon after delivery. I’m looking forward to sharing pictures of both and a review of my experience in the coming weeks! I got rid of the Z due of many factors, not to mention that I’m 6’3” and tip the scales at around 250. I also live in New England and have two kids that visit me every other weekend. With the above factors I decided that it was time for a change! I hope I will not regret it. Anyway, thanks again for all the information.

My brother has a Z8 that he lends me every once in a while for the weekend. It still gives me goosebumps every time I drive it...what a magnificent machine...
