Part distance control (PDC) and Ipod

Hi. My X5 3.0 si 2007 doesn't have PDC camera kit. How could I upgrade ?

How about installation and using (could I use it like original car which already has it (use via i-drive system with naviagation monitor?)

I also brought a ipod iterative kit for e53, could I install it on my E53?

if you do not have PDC, you can install an aftermarket kit. installing the factory one which is integrated into iDrive may not be an option anymore (never heard of a PDC retrofit for iDrive). the camera you still are able to install (if BMW makes the retrofit kit, which they do have for other models)

currently, there is no ipod integration for the e70, but look out the MOST ipod kit available on other BMWs. there will also be an integrated usb port

your e53 ipod integration will not fit into the e70, although i do not know what model it is, but the connections on the e53 are different from the e70

This listing is for a brand new genuine BMW iPod Retrofit Kit for a BMW E39 5 Series (2001-2003), E46 3 Series (2002 and newer), X5 (10/2001 production month and newer), X3, Z4. This kit was only offered to the European market, and so knowing nothing about the iPod (not video) interface I truly have no idea if these are universal kits or not. I believe they are, but please use good judgment based on your own knowledge and/or research, as returns are only permitted for damaged or defective items.
Use your iPod with your BMW, flawlessly integrated.

Sorry, but that system looks like it will not work with the new X5.

Sorry but I still don't understand? I've already seen another E70, when we drive back, there will be rear camera picture on the naviation monitor, also see highlight guide for parking. if I want to install this kit on mine. is it ok? Up to this moment I still can't find it on ebay should I wait for uocoming accessory for BMW?

you are correct, a rear view camera does come with e70. but it's factory installed. for other BMWs with iDrive, there are accessories like front and rear cameras that can be added. but you will not be able to get the guide lines

That pictured kit is for a euro-spec e90, not the X5.

Today, because current X5 doesn't have much option (PDC, rear DVD, 5 disks cd changer, comford assess, back camera ...) so I have bring it back to Auto dealer and I will get full option 3.0 si within 2 weeks (I have to pay 6000 USD more, so total paying money is 140.000 USD).
