Do you mean that the light goes from "3" to 2 to 1 to off, or does it not stay hot.
BMW removed the seat heating distribution from IDive for some reason. I think it is set on half/half.

bring it to the dealer, tell them what happens, ask them to fix it, and what ever you do, don't pay a penny!
Oh, :xoutpost:!

from what you said it sounds like your heated seats is malfuctioning.. and the seat distribution menu is in the i drive. climate menu. then in driver seat setting or passenger seat setting.. HOWEVER, only some people have these menu in their i drive and some don't

jcreed:
in addition to the seat heater distibution, do you also have (in the settings menu) an option to turn down the "chime" or "ding"? I had that option on an E70 I testdrove. That E70 also Didn't have an "adaptive" I-Drive Controller, where it there is no "point of resistance" and it spins freely no matter what was displayed on the screen. Does yours do that?
My E70's I-Drive only moves if there is something else to be selected.

Sorry for digging up an old thread, but my passenger side heated seat has stopped working. It won't stay on for more than a split second. It goes on, then turns off.
Anyone know what the problem is.
