p990 bluetooth?

My car can't comunicate with my Sony erricssion P990 (even they can pair with each other), but it is ok with my Nokia 8800. Do you know why? I think the car is not compatable with UIQ version 9.0 phone?

I already read (can't remember where) that the P990 doesn't work with BMW BT.
My (bad) experience with trying to make P800, P900 and P910 work with my 645 made me give up on SE UIQ phones. I got an Imate K-Jam.
I'm glad I didn't wait for the P990.
