Thanks!

Thanks guys, I am very close to ordering mine and was debating on third row seats. I already have 3rd row seats on my MDX so I may not need it any way, but I was just wondering if there's any visible or hidden advantage to getting third row seats on X5. I would rather prefer more roomy back seats in that case.
I see you have black interior. I was planning to get baige although it seems very light in color. does baige color has problem with marks/dirt being more visible/ thanks.

black shows dirt more the beige.
I have to wipe down the back everytime my kids get out.

Our other car has beige interior...

and it doesn't mix well with my 7 year old. Additionally, the driver's seat usually darkens a bit.

I have truffle now, I've had other cars with grey.

All that I can say for sure is that our 97 Maxima had black and when we sold it with 108K miles, it still looked pretty good.

I would agree that Black may show some dust, but, hey, so will the outside...

As for the third row, I just figured that it might be useful. I'll probably be able to count the times we use it on one hand.

I am happy with the black, I just have to clean it more often (which is probably a good thing).

RE: Third Row, there are several folks who are dead set against it, but I am very pleased with my decision to add it even though I have not used it once. I will use it several times I am sure and this will justify (for me) the purchase. I also believe it will help me at resale time in a few years.

As a bonus, I will depreciate this X5 much quicker due to the added weight and thanks to the Feds.

I will not buy the third row seating either - have you actually sat back there?

no but my kids will when they misbehave.

seriously though, my kids (7 and 9) fit just fine...its when they are teenagers that it will be borderline abuse. But by then I will be trading this in for the 2010 X5 and it will have more room.
