Question E70 sunroof
Anyone know what purpose the pop up screen thing on the front of the sunroof opening serves? It definitely doesn't prevent wind noise. As a matter of fact I think it makes it worse. Any one know?

Its never quite worked like it should on the pano roof's (like traditionally sized sunroofs)...

Hopefully with time BMW will perfect it...

The idea is not to open the roof all the way, this will reduce noice considerably.
