When will the 08's be out?

Hi All,

CEO'S decided to wait for the 08's. Historically when does BMW finalize the options for the next model? When does the X go on sale? Can we expect night vision? How about a real Nav system with over the air updates instead of the cd sneaker net? Any and all rumors or 2 cents accepted.

No sure when BMW is releasing 08's. But my guess, it wont be for a while. Mercury is already advertising 08's on tv.

I believe manufacturing of the next model year X5 starts in early September. I am also wondering when options and pricing come out. Since it takes approx 4 weeks from order to production, I assume BMW will accept orders in early August.

talked to a dealer today who was guessing september/october.. says the 5-series should be out sooner, and has been early the last couple years, but the X5 having come out so late with the '07's, might not be till October... but seems like they don't really know at this point.
