I Drive Update

Before I get my car back tomorrow I thought I'd share some news on I Drive update:

But, some of the new features, different background color, no color in the main menu for the four main choices, only the colored arrows pointing towards them remain, you can search by distance or by name of a restuarant, the screen will now go back to the last one used instead of always deafaulting to the main menu screen. I think the i-pod or MP 3 selections are better now too in the way they are displayed.
Further changes:

- The iDrive including NAV appears to react much faster!
- The issue with CD's keeping playing is finally fixed (iPod hopefully too)
- In split display modes, the smaller right one is able to automatically change from map/perspective view to the arrow view when you approach an intersection and goes back to the map/perspective afterwards (probably makes sense without HUD)
- As already mentioned the last used screen will reappear after starting the car, but only after a 5 second wait phase while the main menu is displayed

Also, there's already a 25.1 and a 25.2 version! If upgraded on cars with particular build dates (PROGMAN releases? ), 25.0 had a bug causing the TMC/RTT feature to be disabled - but there was a workaround to make it work again by changing the NAV DVD inserted while the car had been programmed to a different DVD release.

Let us see as dealership says its their first E70 for the update
