Question is it confirmed?? twin turbo for '08 6 cyl
just wanting to know if next years X5 model year '08 will have the same engine, 6 cylinder as the 335i ... tia.

I heard this is still in the works for the new X6... but nothing has been confirmed in terms if its going to be diesel or regular gas. The one thing is its going to be TT for a more high performance SUV.

I ordered a TwinTurbo Diesel in Holland. Production starts in september 07 for the 08 modelyear. So it comes

asked the dealer
went into to get my x5 repaired yesterday and inquired about the diesel x5 and they telling me that its not confirmed yet for north america due to the standard of diesel in the US, so they like maybe at the end of this year thier will be more info on the launch date......Twin Turbo, i down with that, anything but paying high gas prices, and i heard the diesel bmw engines in europe are out of hand....!!

You 100% sure about that??

That is at odds with what BMW UK and AG are saying. The twin turbo egine is not comfirmed for the X5 at all (yet)

We know it is likely to happen but nothing is confirmed just yet....

Yes i'm 100% sure, i placed the order. I will be called the 3.0 sD. The production starts in september and the delivery is planned november 2007.

~ this is my same question... referring to - regular fuel... not diesel.
