Sorry but you are making some very broad (and incorrect to a large degree) assumptions there
You cannot allocate all the year/quarter end margins and bonus that a dealership makes in total to just one car to illustrate your comment that "they have £12k" in the car. That is simply incorrect I'm afraid.
Also you are wrong about the BMW staff discount. For a start the new X5 is not available to staff on that scheme yet (new cars stay off that for 6-12 months) and when it does go on there it will be for a lot more than the 8% standard operating margin....more like 15-20%.
Also what is the "normal operating discount"?? There is no such thing unless you meant to say "normal operating margin"....
