First problem......

O, forgot to mention that now new smell in a car replaced by burning smell from faulty wire, and scren stays in connected mode with BMW ASSIST.

First problem

Pretty bad, to say the least i am on the first name basis with GM,sales manager, service department manager, BMWNA, etc..
Seriously they tried to eliminate rumbling noise from midsection of the car/2006 x-5 4.4/ for 4 times in a span of 3 months, keeping car at the dealership for 3-5 days. Finally they as well as ''expert'' from BMWNA concluded that the problem is unfixable, and my AD ordered 2007 x-5 4.8/ same options + comfort seats and same color/,
Thanks Alex

At least they took care of you in the end. Hopefully you'll have better luck with the "new and improved" vehicle. You may have lucked out in the end if you don't have issues with this one, not that you didn't earn it with all the headaches.
