Best option would be to do it yourself. If you're using the maintenance freebies, the dealer is using their Castrol oil, so stick with that for the interim oil changes. Believe it or not, the engine see's wear when you keep changing oils.

Going to another shop isn't going to save you that much when you bring them the oil and they add their labor charge.

Its not about money, strictly convience. I have used a 10minute oil change shop near my home. You pull in the bay, sit in your car while they change the oil...take 5 minutes. You can chose the oil brand/type and the charges are adjusted accordingly. You never leave the vehicle. They have a guy under the car and another guy on top.

I pass by it every day on my way home, so its very convienent.

those kinds of places are nightmares waiting to happen- cue jiffy lube, etc. Do it yourself or just got to the dealer. An oil change takes all of 20-30min to do on a weekend.
