Liftgate adjutment

Hey folks, can anyone tell me if the height of liftgate opening is adjustable. My garage door opens rather low and I am concerned that the gate might hit it when fully opened. I have an X5 on order but can't remember if this is possible. Other SUVs I was considering (MDX, Q7) have this option but I haven't found anything in Owner's Manual and Tech Refs PDFs downloaded from this (GREAT) site.

Thanks in advance.

I do not know, but if it is I would like to have mine adjusted. I have a 9' ceiling in my garage and the liftgate has to be coaxed to fully open. It is fine for my wife she is 5'4" and so it is easy for her to close. In my case at 6'2" it is simply easy to bang my head.
