Any Quick Way to get to Map View?

If I wanna drive with the large map facing north in the left pane and the location info in the right pane, is there any quick way to get there? The only way I've found is, from the main screen, RIGHT, DOWN, DOWN, PRESS (Map View North).

I tried to set a function key for this, but no, you can not set a screen setup or view to a button.

In my wife's car, you simply press the MAP button.

Thanx,
Pat

once you have the setting you want, you can get to the map screen you want by holding the dial to the right and hold it.

OK, I tried the 2 second hold. That only works once you have been on that screen since the car started.

After starting the car, holding for 2 seconds brings me to the same screen as one single right push - the nav config screen. I still have to go DOWN DOWN PRESS.

I guess that I'll have to start learning the voice commands so that I can do it that way.

holding the knob to the left brings up the last configuaration, so if you keep it on map view this will always come up...you need to hold it till it appears, usually longer than 2 sec.

it does not reset every time you get in the car.
