Car market in Russia?

So, my E70 is finally in production, estimated to be complete next week. I'm getting ready to sell my Infiniti FX45 and found a guy through a friend that buys FX's and ships them to Russia, apparently good demand and little supply for them there.

My question is, is there anyone on here from Russia, or anyone that could tell me what this vehicle might be worth in Russia, so I can get the best deal possible if this guy is interested in buying my car.

The car:
'04 Infiniti FX45 Diamond Graphite (gray) with Black and Beige interior
40,000 miles
Premium (leather, moonroof, etc) and tech package (navigation, rear camera, intelligent key, intelligent cruise)
Rear DVD with wireless headphones
Mint condition
Original MSRP was about $54,000 USD.

Thanks in advance if anyone has any info!
Chris

It's the FX45, so it's a 4.5 litre V8, 315 horsepower.

I'm not sure about Russia, but here in Kazakhstan we have a lot of Infinity's. Most of them FX35, but in Almaty we have a lot of rich guys, who's buying very expensive cars...

I can't tell you exact price, but keep in mind it takes roughly 2 months to get a car from US to it's final destination to Russia, trasportation costs are $1.5 - 2.5K, customs ~$14K, brokers profit - at least $2K. Also, Infinity started selling FX in Russia officially, so non-local versions may be in lesser demand now (although they are slightly better equiped). Check the prices http://www.cars.auto.ru/cars/used/infiniti/fx45/ (they are in $) and do the math.

And one more thing - people are obsessed with production years there, so if your '04 car was manufactured in 2003, compare it with 2003 prices.

Thanks guys. I met with the guy from Russia and he said the same thing you mentioned, 16k including shipping, his fee, and the customs... and he did specifically ask about the build year... So in the end, won't get any better deal through him than anyone here.

Thanks for the info.

Yep, no surprises. Since the vast majority of buyers look for the build year, they make the most $$ on fresh (build year speaking) cars with high mileage. The latter is "adjusted" before a car is put on sale. Everyone knows it's been rolled back (carfax, duh!), but still go along. Kinda wierd.
