I was told by the service advisor yesterday that the i-drive system is different in each country and each country has their own software programs. I have attached my menu screen which is different to the original one before new software installed, the original has honeycomb pattern, and tyre tracks on the screen. Post a pic of your menu screen if is different.

Mine looked just like the honeycombed and tire-tracked one you just mentioned and in color too.

However following a software update, the new menu looks just like the one above. I am in Michigan US.

Big Dog did you have to tell the dealer to upgrade your I-drive version? Do you know what is the latest version for Australia? May as well have it done before delivery.

I am not sure how to tell what version of the software I have now but it is working without any faults. I car was returned for i-drive freezing (which first occured when i was being shown thru the system by the salesman) and for a fault with the lighting system.
