What sort of cable is that Belkin cable? With this cable theres no need for the expensive ipod integration right? How does it interface with the car?

Thanks.
See here http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProdu...duct_Id=149006 With this cable you get standard AUX interface to car but can't controll your iPod from iDrive. For that you need to order 6FL intrface (factory only). I find this way OK since I start my iPod and just let it shuffle songs, I don't fiddle with it too much while driving. Nice thing is the litle amp built into cable so you have constant signal vol. Also if you change the audio input from AUX to something else or turn off the car, the cable automatically puts iPod into pause mode.
