Lease deal on X5 3.0

Got quoted from the dealer yesterday. $2000 drive off. $850 per month (inc. CA tax) 3 year term, 10K miles per year. MSRP $56700. $1K discount
from MSRP.

Is this a good deal?

I got mine 2006 550I with MSRP $63,200. $2000 drive off, $820 per month, 3 year lease term, 10K miles per year. Much cheaper? Should I
wait for couple month for the X5?

it's always better to wait a couple of months, but for some reason BMW has gone insane with their leases lately. Last month I was ready to get a 335 convertible, msrp 58k, until they told me it would cost 1,000 a month!

I don't know what's going on, and I hope it comes to an end soon.

You are right! I got quoted for 335I 4 door with Navi and auto for $670 per month. That's way too much for the 3 series.
