so my head up display stopped working

when i started the car today the headup display stopped working. I can still see the yellow projection but the word/numbers dont display anymore. I turned the car off, waited half a min and turned it back on and it still doesnt work. has anyone else had this problem?

did you check the switch on the dash, maybe you accidentally turned it off.

yeah i checked. and i know the system is still on because i could still see the very faint orange box but no information is displayed

I guess its obvious, but did you check in IDrive to be sure all the items to be displayed are checked?

yep i checked everything. at first i think it was a i drive problem because all my setting s was gone but i went through i drive re programmed everything and made sure everything was set.

did you try resetting the Idrive? I forgot the key combination, but if you search I m sure I saw it on this site.
