Strictly speculation but I'm sure a colored bumper will be one of the updates over the next few years, as to which year who knows.

The M sport will come with colour coded body work, in the UK this replaces the E53 sport. I guess in the US if you dont get the M Sport option you will get a 'Sports' which will be the same look. Same as the X3 offers.
They are available to order in the UK now in the 4.8 and at the end of the year in the 3.0is and 3.0d. I would think the US should get them at the same or nearly the same time... |

I am glad they don't come with colour coded bumpers although I got Black Saphire so they aren't as obvious, put simply with other drivers and their habits, it simply saves the hassles of grazes and scrapes ruining the look of the vehicle....
