Few observations about the E70..

1. I thought Platinum Bronze would be THE color to have when I saw pics of it..looks pretty blah in person. The black bumpers have a lot to do with that.

2. Those 20" wheels look friggin awesome in pics and 100 times better in person.

3. Anything other than 20"+ wheels makes the whole thing look bland. Those wheel wells are simply giiiinormous.

4. When the E53 hit they were everywhere. I've still only seen less than 10 in Chicago.

Regardless of wheel, the FX is ok at best. Simply trying too hard..

Yea, if you like Hanna & Barbera design style. I think Nissan needs to pay a visit to Pininfarina or similar.

Hasn't the E70 been plagued with production issues? I wasn't into cars when the E53 first came out, but there've been some complaints on this board that there are delays.

"Plagued"???

Actually based on the posts on this forum, BMW has oficially recalled the X5 and is giving all owners a full refund plus 10% for their troubles.
