Active Cruise Control
It's the only important equipment that the e70 lacks, and many will therefore regard it as a major drawback , since the 5series are available with this radar system. thanks Last edited by Fastlane; 06-01-2007 at 04:35 PM.

Hi
Ive searched every forum and extensilvy researched german websites as I didnt want get my car the week before its released. As I really like ACC after having it on my 745i. yet to expierence night vision but I really want that too! I did find some early pricing on a german website for Night vision and ACC but thats been about it and that was dated feb. My dealer is saying he has no sight but in early breifings they were told no to both. But then he also said that theyd been told msport was mid 2008 and theyve brought that forward 12 months! So who really knows.... However theres nothing else out there on the internet at the moment. For reference (as I tried on my 730d) you cannot retrofit Active Cruise Control on a right hand drive (UK / Australia ETC) as it requires a very different harness and set of connections in the engine bay...... On the 7 series it was included for the US market so you could retrofit.... So you never know on the new X5 e70?> Could go either way!
