X5 or M35?

I know they are both different kind of cars but these are the two choices I narrowed my next car purchase to. I come here asking for an honest answer even though this is a Bimmer forum

Like you say they are 2 completely different vehicles which serve 2 different purposes.
If you need or want an SUV then the X5 is for you, if a sedan that gets much better gas mileage is more important then it's the M35, not sure why you asked.

The M is a great car, I've driven it, but the X5 will out corner and out-sport an M35, yes the M35 is more powerful then an I6 X5 BUT it is tuned for optimal comfort vs the X5 which is a bit more sport, if you want great technology and pampering, then the M is prolly a great bet for you
