stereo question

New X5 owner here and was wondering if anyone could tell me the replacement speaker size for the door speakers in the 2007 X5. It seems that they changed the size from 06 to 07. I am a fool and ordered 6.5's before I got the car only to find out they are the wrong size. any particular brands that make a specialized size for our suv. thanks in advance

I found the door speaker size and part number for the front door on the new X5 that you are looking for. Check it out.

http://srx.ebaymotors.ebayrtm.com/cl...=-9999&m=19222
Description BMW e70 X5 radio Speakers door speaker set TOP HIFIOriginal Equipment front door speakers for the front doors.
Fully tested and confirmed working to factory specifications.

qty 2 part# 65 13 9 112 472, (3.5" midranges)
qty 2 part# 65 13 6 949 737, (1.0" tweeters)
Fit (2006-2007) X5's, does NOT fit the earlier e53 suv's.
These are from the 'Top Hifi' or best factory system offered.
Click on any picture to Enlarge. All pictures are of the actual speakers you will receive. We inspect, TEST, and photograph every single speaker to make sure you know exactly what you are getting.

Be wary of listings with fuzzy pictures and vague descriptions. Ask yourself why a private individual might be selling just one pair of speakers anwyay?
Fully Tested and Worked Out
We perform indepth electronic tests to confirm all speakers are up to factory spec. Here are just a few of the things we have done to check these speakers for you:
- Frequency Response is tested with a sine wave sweep.
- Dynamic Range is tested with square wave pulses.
- Power handling is tested to be within spec.
Speakers are easily damaged by cranking them up too loud. The amplifier runs out of power and starts to distort, and distortion is heat, and heat is deadly to speakers.

It is easy to hurt speakers a little bit, yet not totally blow them. So even they sound like they're working, they might not be responding to all of the frequencies.
We employ a dynamic testing process which reveals even the slightest hints of damage. By sweeping a logrithmic sine wave through the entire frequency range, we can quickly catch any anomolies in a speaker's response. We also listen to each and every speaker, to make sure it sounds as good as it should. We have a variety of amplifiers with which to test, and we use a variety of music ranging from soft female vocals to bass heavy hip hop to dynamic orchestrations. These speakers are perfect, both to our instruments and to our ears.Buy these with confidence
Why take chances with "as-is" listings?

Speakers are the easiest thing to hurt in a system. Often, some damaged speakers start the owner on an upgrade path. So you have to ask yourself why is someone selling a pair of used speakers?

Why take chances with "as-is" listings?

We guarantee every radio we sell.
All radios are probed and scrutinized by a vast array of test equipment, then tested some more to make sure they will work properly for a long time. You can rest assured that this will be the last radio you need. All mechanisms are lubricated and aligned.
All circuit boards are inspected and scoped.
All rubber parts are replaced or revitalized.
Your radio will be as close to new as possible.
Here is our Burn-In station. Amplifier circuits are excercised by running into large power resistors (mimicking speakers) so that any heat or power related issues are resolved. We use the highest quality tools to ensure clean surgeries. Wima specialty drivers and professional dental tools are used extensively, so that your radio will have been reassembled with the same precision as factory original. We chemically clean all connections, optical lasers, relays, and tape heads. Caig ProGold and other high quality preservative chemicals are used to ensure good conductivity for many decades. Vintage to Modern. We know them all.

Don't take chances with as-is listings.

Our radios are Guaranteed to Work!
