June 2007 X Series Sales Report
June sales of the BMW X3 and X5 Series totaled 5,152 units, up 14.9% from the 4,484 sold last June. YTD sales of the X Series totaling 31,183 units were also up 5.5% when compared to the first 6 months of 2006.
For those of you who are interested Mercedes-Benz sold 5,846 trucks this month thanks to the addition of the R Class and GL Class. For the first half of 2007 sales of MB trucks are up 15.6% when compared to the same period of 2006. Of the 34,154 MB trucks sold thru June, 2007 over half (54.5%)were the new R Class and GL Class. This explains the short supply on the dealers lots and most of all the dealers unwillingness to discount this car very much.
