I had Dunlops on my 545i, I had problems with them, but I couldn't tell you whether it was the car or the tires. I now have a 550i w/Bridgstones which have just over 20,000 fun filled miles on them and they still look new.

It's hard to really compare them on different car models, particularly if you had the same brand and not the same model of tire. In many cases the same exact tire model will use different compounds and construction on different sizes, making it even more complicated.

At this point I only have a few hundred miles on them (I finally picked up my car 2 weeks ago). So it's too soon to tell for me.
