Unhappy X5 slow after software update

Ever since the update (25.2) I have found the E70 to be lethargic. (in any mode)
Although it has solved the problems with idrive, the x just doesn't feel as fast.
I have been driving the M roadster quite a bit and maybe that has something to do with it, but I'm pretty sure that is not the case. When I floor it, the tranny seems to pick the wrong gear and when it finally gets up to red line and on to the next gear the shift is not smooth at all. It feels like the transmission is hesitating, coughing, buckling and slipping all at the same time. Under normal driving everything is fine.

Does anyone else feel like their E70 got slow or worst after the update?

Actually mine was faster after the update.

My transmission is very smooth, the shifts are barely noticable and 99% of the time I have all the power I need. Every now and then I feel it needs more power, but this is a rare event.

Isn't there a process where you can put the key in the second position, push the acellerator all the way to the floor hold it for 30secs and it resets the tranny's response time to factory default?

I remember someone posting on the subject, but it was regarding the E53 if I'm not mistaking.
Maybe it's worth a shot on the E70? Thanks.

In my case I don't think it will make it any less responsive, so I will try it.
The folks that tried it on their E53 seem to like the results. There is a thread on this somewhere.

Found it! http://www.xoutpost.com/x5-e53-forum/...g+transmission
