Thumbs down Visor Replacements?

I see numerous threads about removal of the warning labels, but the visors in the X5 (2007) are just cheap.

Does anyone make something nice aftermarket, perhaps with extension, but at least something that doesn't look and feel so cheap?

searching here, I saw variously use of hair dryers, paint thinner, alcohol. I'm a bit afraid of all of those since if it makes a mess you have... well, a mess but even if it works, you still have some cheap looking visors.

But if I could buy a couple of nicer ones... ?

removed my labels...its really easy. Hairdryer is a no go. Use rubbing alcohal with cotton balls to dab. When damp use a tweezer to remove...then use resolve to get rid of residue

I just removed my labels. Tried some heat first (nothing), but alcohol worked like a charm, softened it where I could peak it off with a thumbnail. Some 3M adheseve remover cleaned up the shiny area left behind.
