There are no holes underneath the badges, so you can take them off without any problems.
I have mine without the 4.8i badges and without the X5 badge on the rear. |

Blow a hairdryer on the badge for about 6-8 minutes, then slide dental floss behind the badge. It should come off cleanly. You may need to clean up some of the extra glue.
