BMW Assist in the US is for four years. Is it only one in AUS?

They are saying my car is the first & ONLY (if that is true) in Australia with this full set of options. So I think that is the problem, also I think there has been no problems in England but I think it is again the combination of options.

Anyway going to BMW in about an hours time, will keep you informed.

PS. did you put the new lights in yet?

I've put the angel eyes in.. Nice ! Haven't done the fogs as they look a tiny bit more involved.. the Angel Eyes weren't exactly easy .. they could have added a couple of extra cm's to the wires to make it easy.!! . I also had to be careful not to cut my hand on the compliance plate..! Noticed the existing fogs are slightly yellowish so looking forward to putting the H11's in !!

Yeh, it is a bit of a tight fight with those angel eye wires. The fogs will lookm good when you get them in.

They put another control arm in yesterday afternoon, still drives left. The BMW head tech rang me late yesterday and they have another control arm to try in the righthand side again but he acknowledges that all they are playing around with is camber adjust.

He knows that castor is required but there is no adjustment. So I have the left front wheel tilting in at the top and the righthand front wheel tilting out at the top ( / / ) , so the front end is now setup like those dirt track racing sports cars that go around the oval in the same direction. The goes around righthand corners great but not lefthand corners.

So while they were working on the car this morning I went and order a new X5 Sept production, same spec and paid a deposit, that set the cat amongst the pigeons. So its on for young & old at the moment.
