Ipod Question

If you have the Ipod adapter and had an Ipod capable of playing video, would the video appear up on the screen on the dash of the X5? I'm curious to know if this could be a way to watch DVD's and other videos on the screen.

I researched a couple of different ways to get video on the iDrive screen and the only one I could find was via navtv2go. The video adapter is $450 and you get a few inputs where you could plug your video ipod or dvd and watch videos through the iDrive screen.

I'm going to try it out soon and I'll let you know how it goes.
