Glad you're OK.

Sounds like the Ford Taurus is an incredibly safe vehicle.

Good to hear the BMW assist still worked. I love the option and will be keeping it. Nice to know that if your wreck on a deserted roadway... there is at least a chance some help can be sent your way if you cannot call.

Please do take more shots of the interior!! Nice to see that side airbag is so large!! It covered the entire rear window!

Glad to hear you're OK! And thanks for giving us the confidence in our X's if the worst case wreck should occur.
Keep us posted on your recovery and purchase of your new X5. By the way, are you optioning your second E70 any differently than your first?

You should not buy any lottery tickets, because you used up all your luck!!!

Seriously, thanks for sharing the story. Very reassuring for the rest of us, and I hope you have no long term issues from the wreck.

Man I'm glad that you made it unharmed. Sh!t happens, and you can only hope your car holds up. Of course, the germans make some of the safest cars.

good job BMW.

good that you and the idiot lady are both ok.. and I'm not so surprised that the 5000lbs X5 did ok, but more so that the Taurus did well too. For her to walk away from an accident that did that to the X5 is amazing in and of itself.
