What MPG are you getting in your X5?

There is currently a 3.0 vs 4.8 mileage debate raging on the forum, so I thought it would be interesting to see what MPG folks are really getting. So if you care to take the time post:
  • Engine
  • City/Highway driving mix in %
  • Style of driving e.g.:
    • Conservative - You are careful with the gas petal and rarely stomp on it
    • Normal - You drive within the speed limit most of the time, and occasionally get on the gas
    • Aggressive - You frequently accelerate off the line and live for speed
  • MPG observed
  • # miles on your X5

4.8 Sport here...

50/50 highway/city
Style: Normal...The only time I really step on it is when I need to pass on the highway. But my starts from lights are generally smooth with most of the shifts at 2500-2800.
MPG: 11.4 according to the OBC. My own calucations are a little better at maybe 12.5. I've got 1100 miles on mine.

Because its got a relatively small tank compared to other SUVs, it feels like it drinks gas like nothing. Otherwise, i feel the gas consumption is about on par with other v8 SUV's i've had.

I am sure the 3.0 gets much better milage as I've driven a 3.0 for a week while they were fixing my DVD player in the 4.8.. I noticed a big difference in how fast that fuel gauge goes down!

I'm getting about 14 mixed driving (phoenix has a lot of 45mph zone large streets, so it's not like a true urban setting with lots of stop and go).
