new version of X drive

I heard that X drive is being upgraded on all models in sept 08. Is this true and if so how will it be better than the current version?
other than not having LSDs, I really like the current Xdrive Alot better than the first gen X drive. well I hope they add the LSDs.

I think they are going to release an optional rear-differential with the X6 and make it available on the X5. Its not an LSD but a totally new concept. Read about it somewhere cant remember the details. Apart from that I think the Xdrive would remain the same.

Problem is no-one knows what is going to be included in the 08's. It is still unknown as to whether the auto tailgate and efficient dynamics are going to be there after Oct 07 not to mention this newer xdrive system.

Really iffy waiting on the twin turbo but if the new xdrive is definitely going to be included at the same time, the wait is worthwhile in my opinion. Perhaps MY2009, but come on MY2008!
