Really.

Nothing like that. I saw them bring out the Mats in boxes, and just pulled them out and stuck them in the car, the salesman did it, and he sure had no drill. They left nothing in the rear (I just went and checked).

That's annoying. Though I am leaning toward rubber anyway. But am still annoyed if they rushed through the install.

But I will say it was near closing time, and they had 3 cars to deliver, and seemed to rush through everything. I had to go back and get the BMW Assist done a couple weeks later also.

Should have bought a car no one liked then the salespeople would have had time for me.

I can shoot a pic. I have not installed them yet. I have two sets one came with the all weather mats and one with the carpet mats the dealer installed.

Interesting... I didn't get this kit. I wonder if it was supposed to be given to me.

I do agree however that the mats on this car are wholly unacceptable for a luxury car, much less a $74K BMW.. I am going to shop for a high grade after market set and just let these wear out over the next few weeks.

I tend to be overly anal.. I vacuum my cars out more or less daily (I keep a rechargeable Dyson in the garage) and I also clean my wheels inside and out weekly or sometime even more often.. That's just me.

If any of you US guys are in Australia at anytime and want some beige OEM front LHD rubber mats let me know.. I bought them and forgot to check the RHD/LHD thing.. I could return them but it'll cost a bomb in postage back to the US...

I'm finding a few places to get high quality burber mats like on my Mercedes on line, but the problem is that none of them come in the tobacco brown interior color I have.. I wonder if anyone came across a source for that?
