I understand your point, but would take HUD over Comfort Access a thousand times over. For the last twenty or so years, I have had to put a key in the ignition and turn the key, so it kinda still works for me. On the other hand, HUD is really nice, for one very simple reason, the navigation integration. I absolutely love the fact I never have to take my eyes off the road.
When I was choosing options, I had to choose what I could live without and found Comfort Access took a backseat to safety. Now had CA cost $500 like it should have, I may have got it as well.
