Load Noise from A/C

This is new, when I start the car after it's been sitting in the hot sun, the ac comes on max. After I excellerate, I hear this loud (almost like a jet) from the right side of the dash, it lasts for a second or two then stops as does the air, but almost immediately the air is back and the noise is gone. I'm thinking its with the vent inside the dash, somehow one of the fans seems to be hitting somthing. Anyway, I'm bringing her to see the doctor next week. First glitch, I'm sure it won't be the last, overwise this is one great car.

Anyone else with a possessed dash board?

do you have rear air?

if so try turning it off and see if it still happens...my ac is schizo when the rear air is on. If its off it works great.

Sounds like the blower motor. There is a problem with several X5s including mine. Picked car up last Thursday, had it for one day and the blower motor started making horrible noises and eventually quit. Car's been at dealer since last Friday. Blower motors are on national back order, so I just have to wait until a replacement comes in. Not fun with a new car with less than 100 miles on it. Driving around in a 750iL loaner until my car is ready.

I just heard that horrible noise from the AC blower today. The noise is a lot more prominent at lower fan speed. I have 13xx miles on the X5 4.8 and the car has never been problem free.
