experimenting !!!!
can anyone tell me how i can test those options? and can u also tell me how do i switch on the head-up display ? thanks loads .. i ordered my bmw x5 4.8 2008 and it'll be out at the end of october ... im sure that theres a way to test those options .. thanks again .. for anyone living in the UAE , the bmw x5 2008 is available for ordering .. |

The easy answer would be a nice back, country road...
As far as active steering, you should notice it as soon as you pull out of a parking lot. Active steering is most different at low speeds and the effort is much lower compared to Servotronic steering. My car doesn't have HUD, so I can't help you there. |

xDrive is only activated when four wheel drive is needed. Like in snow. (or sand in your case)

It is very Simple .
STOP the Car or drive slowly. Try to make a U turn ( max stearing to left ). If you have the active stearing you should be able to turn your stearing wheel about one time. (Front Straight to MAx Left). If you don't have it , you will need to rotate your stearing wheel about 2x. Above 90km/h (60mph) their is almost no difference (expect Safety feature with ESP).
