OK...how about it?...anybody else with the "drops to FM" 6FL option/I-pod problem that doesn't have a CD changer??? Could it be that the CD changer is adversely affecting some of these cars in regards to I-pod use through the 6FL with the cable?

A long shot, but it shouldn't take too long to find out if there is some correlation.....

I don't have the CD Changer and experience this problem constantly when using my iPod 8Gb Nano.

I have CD Changer and 6FL.. have not experienced the drop to FM at all.. just one initialiisation problem which hasn't occurred again.. I have the Business professional head unit with 8 programmable buttons.. maybe it's linked in to the type of head unit in the car and maybe other options such as premium DSP sound (I don't have the premium sound)...

I had the problem (and don't have CD changer). Dealer replaced the MULF2 control module and updated car with Progman v26.02.01. So far, problem has not recurred and have fingers crossed.

Sorry for being thick. I have a changer with mp3 cds, dab radio, tv and the dsp hifi. Everytime i've been away from the car for a few hours, it drops to fm when it starts up and goes through all the cd's again before i can access them. Is this the dropping to fm issue being discussed or are you talking about dropping during playback?

Does everyone else's car do this or have i got a fault?
