even though the 2008 x5 will be a great car.... seems like BMW really screwed up this time and is lacking on the features that people want. i agree with the post above about adjustable ride height being a pet peeve... makes no sense.... it's an SUV... freaking put it in there!!

What's with the fixation on automatic tailgate?...

If it was something like touchscreen navi, BUILT IN 6 CD CHANGER. Even Mercury and Hyundai have magically figured out how to put 6 CD's in the dash...

That's my pet peeve

Its the ML500 in the EU. Same engine as in The States, just marketing difference. FYI they dont have a S550, but they have an S500.

ML in Europe is still 306ps while the 550 in the US tops 380.

Not in every country. The 388ps engine is available here, although it's called ML500. But (IIRC) early '07 MLs were still 306ps.
