Whistle Is today 2008 price/options release day?

Rumor has it that today is the day. Attention everyone, if you have a sales contact in your area, please give them a call to check on 2008 pricing release status, and let us know a.s.a.p. if you obtain the new pricing .

Thank you in advance

Its funny - I just called the dealer who confirmed that my 08 went into production on 9/26 with an estimated completion of 10/4.

I asked him about pricing and options and he said he had no further information - minor details I guess

It really is bizarre, I deal in production of a different type and I don't really understand how they are doing this. My best guess is that they are either:

a) Starting the original '08 cars with the same option layout as '07

or

b) Simply using the current option pack to "best fit" to the order

The thing is, once the VIN is generated my understanding of their process is that it is a done deal. Doing this to a client who doesn't really know the true options OR pricing seems highly unusual.

But I guess it is one way to try and move the current '07s that are still sat on lots around the US.

Cheers,
KEF

Question

Hmmm, maybe I can ask Brad @ Crevier for you. Are you getting the 3.0si or 4.8i?

Well, in this forum, we all seem to be asking about the 4.8i.

TIA
