Whoops, I missed that part about the 4.8i....anyhow, see if www.bimmerfest.com has the pricelist. Usually Jon Shafer is on the ball with BMW price lists.

I'll ask Brad later this AM re: 2008 X5 4.8i pricelists. Gotta go back to work!

Now Kewl, do you really think I have not already checked over there? X5world will be the first to get the scoop this time .

UPDATE:

I was just told by Crevier BMW (largest dealer is US) that it may be another 1.5 to 2 weeks before X5 pricing/option packages are released. He did confirm that there is NO change in pricing for the X3 3.0 though, and that the 650i and others base price only increased by about $800.

I still think the BIG news will be the option packages and not the base price.

Stay tuned...

Just got off the phone with Brad and he confirmed the same thing except he heard that November 2007 production will have automatic tailgaite opening/closing available, but Brad states, "I'll believe it when I see it"

I wonder if it will have a window sticker?

I have the VIN can anyone do a carfax to make sure I'm not getting a 2007?

German beancounters are probably waiting to see where the $ freefall against the Euro stops before they set a price

It's funny but the only thing that my local dealer could tell me about the 2008 X5 is that it has an automatic tailgate... I'm not sure (1) why she only had one bit of info and (2) why she thought that that was that important to me.

They are custom-building cars right now for unknown prices. It needs to be said how ridiculous this is.

You may have meant this as a joke, but I bet BMWNA may be delaying the '08 pricing as long as possible due to falling value of the dollar. This would make sense, since they have already released '08 pricing in other countries.
