Hope this clearify things.
Great information, thank you

i got quoted $1000 for parts and $1400 for paint and install!!
i said hell no!
i could never justify that amount of money for paint and install.
i find the parts cost to be somewhat high as well for a front and rear spoiler but that can slide.

I believe the square cutouts in the pic below are the "attach" points for the rear.
i said below 2K, $1650 to be precise.

There is no way you can find a reputable place to paint and install under $1k minimum

I asked around too and kept coming back with close to $1500 for paint and installation.

and don't forget you're taking a chance with someone else painting it to match perfectly...

many shops paint but not all prepp, match, and bake the paint as the more expensive one... you get what you pay for...

I kind of like the idea of ordering it already painted and just seeking someone to install the kit...

even if it will cost me a bit more...

When you order the aero kit from the dealer, does it come pre painted?

It just comes primered and if it is painted, it is being painted by another shop and not BMW. So it's best you just have it painted somewhere else and just install it yourself, it should not be that difficult. Are you guys having the bumpers and flares painted as well?
