Venitlated Seat Pricing

My dealer tried to charge me as well (except he wanted $1,200 for the Preforated Nevada Leather). I showed him the BMW web site & their X5 brochure, both of which indicate that Nevada Leather is standard on the 4.8i and that Preforated Leather is a no cost option. After some discussion he agreed to remove it.....but did not seem too happy about it. I also pointed out that since I was getting the Sport package I was already paying for one seat upgrade that I was not getting.

This goes to both of the previous two posts...

Basically from what I understand, and other members have showed me, THERE SHOULD BE NO ADDITIONAL $1,200 CHARGE if you are getting the Active Ventilated Seat package, hereafter, ZAV.

ZAV already includes the multi-contour seats, but for whatever reason their system is asking them to add that option as extra... which makes no sence. Therefore my CA said he's calling BMW direcly on Monday and getting to the bottom of this.

Those of you that are getting it removed already, how are you doing it?

Thumbs up

Cars.com has the 2008 X5 Build option showing both MSRP and Invoice for the base X5 and all the options. The MSRP prices appear to be spot on and maybe the Invoice prices are too. Highly recommended for anyone that wants to "build their X5" as BMWUSA.com does not have 2008 model on their website yet.

I tried it out and was able to match the MSRP exactly for the 2008 X5 that I ordered. I have selected all options for my X5 4.8i except for those with the word "comfort" in them...

There is DEFINITELY 2008 pricing.

It appears that it does not show by default.

Here's the URL that will take to "Build Your Own Car" for the 2008 X5!!!!
